Who I am?
Hello — I’m Gokay Ergenc. I’m an entrepreneur whose journey has taken me from Sydney to Istanbul and, for the past five years, to the United Kingdom — the place I now proudly call home.
When I first arrived in the UK in August 2020, I brought with me not just a suitcase, but years of experience in business, hospitality, and a vision: to build something meaningful, sustainable, and distinctly mine.
That vision became Pashas Catering, born out of my passion for authentic Turkish homemade food and my desire to introduce it to the UK in a genuine, high-quality way. What started as a simple idea soon grew into a trusted name for private events, premium takeaway, and personal chef services for clients who appreciate quality and tradition.
From late nights in the kitchen to early meetings with clients, from filing my first company registration to negotiating major contracts, every step has brought me closer to the life I envisioned since 2020.
Today, I continue to grow, learn, and build. And through my work, I hope to contribute in my own small way to a country that has given me the chance to dream bigger than ever before.
